Opera Mini on the Sciphone i68
Without doubt the best application you can install thanks to the support JAVA is the Opera Mini.
This browser has many advantages against which brings the phone's built and the best is that it optimizes the pages to load making them smaller and faster course. It also allows complex sail for pages through a WAP connection and even using ports that our provider has blocked.
There are two versions that can be installed, the 3.1 and the 4.2
While many say the best 3 works the best we can do is try them both and draw our own conclusions.
leave the two versions for download English:
Opera Mini 3.1 Opera Mini 4.2
are installed as explained in the previous post for JAVA applications.
Many people have had problems after installing to connect to the Internet with Opera Mini (and I include myself). Despite looking
everywhere could not find a solution until I came to testing the following ...
Probably my case is a theme of the service provider that filters out the ports but the only way to make it work was to set up WAP instead of HTTP. The steps are:
Go to Service - WAP - Settings (Settings) - Edit Profile (Edit Profile) - SIM1 - Good (OK) - Edit Profile (Edit Profile) And in "Connection Type" (Connection Type) switch to WAP instead of HTTP
Check that you correctly configured the IP address and lit Security (Security ON)
also have to go to
Service - Data account - GPRS - Edit (Edit)
and make sure "-type authority" ("Auth. type") on "Security" ("Secure")
With these settings I ran the Opera Mini 3 and he could even check emails from Gmail and browsing of pages that previously could not.
